Blackberry dials on its own

my Name is Florian and this is my first Post here. I hope you can help me.

I'm the Blackberry Admin from 300 Devices and since 2 Weeks, i have a strange Problem.

2 Blackberrys dial on its own some Internal Numbers from our Company.

The Blackberry was in a bag during he dialed and phoned a colleague.

The weirdest thing is, that the call is not in the Call History. As the call was never made.

But on the other colleague, i see the call on the CTI Mailbox with a duration from 90 seconds.

On this Mailbox, i hear the colleague which was in the near from the bag.

I have asked our BB Consultants and our Provider, both did never heard this.

What could that be?

Virus? NSA?

Both Blackberrys which had dialed on its own were in the same external building. Could any radiation a reason for that?

Thanks for your help

Re: Blackberry dials on its own

I guess you have a touch screen phone (9900, 9800, X series, etc).  If the users do not but the BlackBerry in the pouch, they will dial, delete, SMS or whatever.

Probably it was in the bag, called, and deleted the dialed number.  They should simply lock the touch screen when not in use.

I once selected a contact, and sent a picture via SMS when the phone was in my pocket (to my surprise).  Since then I always lock it if not in the pouch.
