I used to have the curve 8520 on tesco,on contract bbm included,and it worked fine. I then got the bold 9900,same sim,just swapped it over and for the first 3ish weeks worked completely fine. Then one morning it suddenly stopped working,updates wont show,neither contact pictures,and messages come up with a red cross. I un installed it and re-installed it,but instead of wiping my bbm history,it came up with the same as before. I've taken the battery out,updated it few timesand my data plan is working. I've also noticed when I am not in the house connected to wi-fi,my facebook and twitter apps dont respond,does this have anything to do with my bbm not working? Any answers I'll be grateful for,thankyou

Sorry to hear you are having issues with your BBM™.
It is possible your data plan has been deactivated, which is why you are getting the red X and nothing works when you aren't connected to Wi-Fi®.
I would recommend you contact your mobile network carrier to investigate and ensure your data plan is still active.

i bought my blackberry curve a few days ago and on monday the bbm just stopped working and i was able to send bbms, accept or request other peoples pins. this occured 3 days after buying it on a contract from tesco mobile. any help who be welcomed happily. thanks
