Blackberry remote stereo gateway and windows 7

I've got a remote stereo gateway and have been using it reliably with my Sony laptop with Windows Vista. I recently upgraded to Windows 7 and now the gateway won't connect. I've tried looking for a updated driver with no luck. I've already removed and re-installed and the computer does see the device.

Re: Blackberry remote stereo gateway and windows 7

to a google search for "bluetooth a2dp windows 7"

the blackberry music gatgeway works with windows using "a2dp" which microsoft didnt include drivers for. you have to download drivers from another manufacture and then it will work.  instructions are everwhere, and the problem is with ANY bluetooth headphones, which is what the computer will see the blackberry streo music gateway as really.

I thought the same thing, but I installed the Widcomm stack and still no dice.  It pairs, but does not ask for a passcode(?), and the subsequently it will not connect.

Re: Blackberry remote stereo gateway and windows 7

Try with passcode "0000" (without quotes), usually thats the default passcode for headsets and audio gateways.

Re: Blackberry remote stereo gateway and windows 7

Sorry, i have a Blackberry Music Gateway, and I can't connect with my windows 8.1.

Unfortunately, the driver on the previous link doesn't work, because the driver is incompatible to windows 8.1.

Can you help me?
