I have a small round orange symbol with the number 1 next to it just under the date on the home screen; I can’t seam to find what this means in the book can anybody help?

You probably have some sort of messaging app installed and someone has contacted you.
For example, VoiceMail = o_o, TXT and Email = an envelope
each application has it's own icon and a number appears to indicate the number of unread messages.

I can't find a "messages" folder in my main window. I have email messages and Instant messages, but no plain "messages". I checked the browser window, the email windows, and the intstant messages for any messages that have a globe next to them... and there are none. But I still have the globe. I do know I saved some webpages when I had no service, but still can't figure out how to delete them. The browser window doesn't have anything to show this.
Can you please give more details or screen shots as to exactly how to remove this icon?
