Blackberry support

Is there anywhere to get  technical support for blackberry from a live person? It is so frustrating trying to get help online. Most of the responses are so generic and the emails I sent to the support link provided on the phone go unanswered. My request for help on this forum has not yielded any response either.

Thanks

Re: Blackberry support

About three hours have passed since your earlier query. On a Saturday night.

This is a user-to-user community support forum. We are not RIM employees, but volunteers who enjoy assisting other users. You would have noticed this in the EULA and message upon registration. Users help users, that's what happens here.

For live RIM support, as your carrier to escalate your issue for you to RIM level tech support. They should do that if they can't resolve it themselves, or you should ask. But since you pay your mobile for service and support, that's the route you need to take if this forum is too slow for you.

I've answered your other post.

Good luck.

Re: Blackberry support

Thanks for your response on a Saturday nite!

I do realize this is a user to user forum, hence my inquiry about support from blackberry or RIM. I had sent  emails to the support link offered on the phone and my  prior post on this forum was on thursday. I started with my carrier's tech support and they were unable to resolve the problem.

Re: Blackberry support

Hi there. Take it from someone who has tried this too many times - RIM don't help.
This community forum really is an excellent resource to get answers, as most people have come across similar issues you may be facing (that you have yet to state).

However I agree with you that it's tough.

You can contact just about any other manufacturer of any product in existence - except Blackberry/RIM.

Good luck to you. But rest assured, the feelings you have, some of which I suspect you have held back, are felt by others - at least by me.

Sorry, you're right, I see the date now.

If you're carrier is not giving you full support (as in allowing you to escalate an unresolved issue to RIM level tech support), then they aren't giving you all you're paying for. But now that you know that option to reach RIM, you can demand it.
