Blackberry torch won't recognize the 8 Giga Sand disk Micro SD

I just bought the Blackberry torch 9800, and I was using BB storm before, and I still have the 8 Giga MicroSD card, so I put it in the new torch. I was expecting the new BB torch will be able to open the files in that card, as in the music and the pictures from my old phone are there. But there's nothing from the MicroSD card can be read by this Torch, but when I take it out of the phone and trying to open it in the computer it can be perfectly opened and all of the datas are still there.

So what can I do to make the BB torch read the Micro SD?

Thanks in advance Smiley Indifferent

Re: Blackberry torch won't recognize the 8 Giga Sand disk Micro SD

Media  file such as you mention (pictures, music) that were on the card  in the Storm, are supported on the Torch.

Try this, copy all of the media card files to your PC.

Insert the card in your Torch and go to Options > Device > Storage.

Press the Menu key > Format and format the media card.

Copy your files on the PC back to the Media card.

Finally, reboot the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot.

Now, see you can view or read the media card from the BlackBerry itself.
