I have had the same problem with two Tours so far, and lots of folks are reporting the same issue on other forums. Verizon is claiming no knowledge of any reports of this issue every time that I raise it. I have owned Blackberries since before they were phones, so I am not new to these devices. I finally had to return my Tour and go back to my 8830, until RIM gets this fixed.
Does anyone have any information on this? As with you, I can hear the other party just fine, but they can't hear me worth a darn.
I just won't rebuy another Tour or commit to a 2 yr contract with VZW until I have some assurances of a fix to this problem. I live in CA, where hands free is the LAW when you drive. I don't have much of a choice.

Same problem here...
Just bought this thing and VZW says that they have no idea what could be wrong.
Unfortunately, I'm stuck, The CO bought this phone for me and I cannot just take it back
Great piece of equipment, otherwise, and the speakerphone isn't bad if the windows are rolled up, the radio is off and the car is out of gas!

Consider certain headsets might have different versions of bluetooth software; that's a common cause of problems for many phones and bluetooth.
I bought a Plantronics bluetooth 390 from Verizon and it syncs up perfectly with my Tour. However that wasn't the case with my "other" smartphone and an older Motorola bluetooth headset.
