I have just upgraded my blackberry curve to a blackberry bold 9900 and to my dismay am having endless issues being able to connect the Bold 9900 to the BMW 320 radio. I did not have this issue with my previous 2 blackberry's. The BB Bold 9900 did connect initially but after about 2 minutes the Bluetooth connection dropped and I have not been able to reestablish the connection.
I have tried rebooting the phone.
I have tried deleting the pairing and then repairing.
I have even disconnected the BMW car battery.
Is anyone else having a similar problem connecting their BB Bold 9900 to their car audio through blue tooth?
Does anyone know of a fix?
I am unable to find any information on the RIM website?

I have the same problem with my bmw x6 m.
I note that the the latest approved list on bmw website is July 2011, and it does not list a 9900.
My 9900 was picked up in September.
Also, the bmw recognizes it as a 9700...so we need to wait for bmw to upgrade its software?

Seems that RIM is not reacting to this problem (It was the same with the 9000 at the beginning).
In France, it's now 135€ and 3 points (out of 12) on your driver licence for using your phone with your hands... I think I'll go for an Android soon...
