Bluetooth setup appears stuck in search mode

My 8310 is stuck in "Searching for Devices" and cannot be stopped.  I have turned Bluetooth off in connection mgr but still shows as Enabled in Bluetooth Setup.  I deleted my Plantronics 6xx device.  I have powered the unit off and on but it won't stop searching so that I can re-pair with my headset.  Any ideas?  Thanks.

Re: Bluetooth setup appears stuck in search mode

HI and welcome to the forums,

When you mentioned "power off" did you mean the red button?

Here is what you need to try:

Please try the following

Pull the battery while the device is ON, replace after a minute,

Let the device reboot 1-3 min, Retry the function that was the problem

Please let me know!

Re: Bluetooth setup appears stuck in search mode

Thank you.  That fixed the problem and I was able to pair the device.  And yes, I held down the red/hangup button to power off the BB.
