Bought a new Blackberry Bold 9790 after I lost my older Curve. When I insert the new SIM I get the tower bands only for a short while of 4-5 seconds and then it goes to SOS. When I connect the SIM into any other phone I get excellent signal quality. The Service Provider customer service confirms that my data plans are the same as I had before my older BB was lost. Can someone please suggest what is to be done ?
