Bold 9900 - 507 error - cant recover

Hi - I have tried every option going on my imac to try and re-install the software after a system crash - and cannot re-install - so i tried with PC (parallels) of both the O2 uk generic software with apploader and also from the RIM site - O2 will not help as they say it is a softyware issue and after a number of emails to RIM - have given up - I now have a almost new Blackberry which is useless as cannot reload - the apploader on pc starts to work but goes no further than 100 per cent of RAM boot disc -= the power seams to cycle on the bold then stops

 

HELP!!

Hi and Welcome to the Community...apologies for the delayed reply...hopefully you have already sorted this, but just in case.

 

While I have heard of using a MAC/Parallels to conduct these activities, I believe that in your situation I would recommend using a true PC. These articles may prove useful:
