Well.. I got tired of waiting. After 191 pages of post and 7 months of low battery problems, i finally migrated to an Android (Atrix). I won't say i don't miss my 9900 because I do, but a little less every day and every time i download another useful app that works and doesn't require me to stay plugged in all day. It's really regrettable but RIM has only themselves to blame.

Just had a quick browse over the last few pages, I'm guessing that all the bugs (i.e. the freezing, and any other glitches) have been fixed with the newest unofficial software version?... What's the latest official software version like?

The freezing, glitches, battery problems and all of thes things have been fixed in the latest official software version
For a battery that last more keep your network on 2g unless u need a higher speed connection for specific thing.
And u will find the battery saving mode in the option menu as well, keep it always on.
