That's good to know. It'll be released here next month and we can't wait. I'm salivating and checking out all the sites and trying to get as much information as possible prior to the Stateside release.
Has the battery settled as yet? on average I take it that you're getting 8-10 hours.
Having 4 apps open and always being "in" would make me wonder about the battery life indeed; however, you're our resident expert so your word carries weight.

So much for all the chit chat but has anyone actually come up with a solution to the abysmal battery life of the 9900?
I actually wasted money on buying a 'long life' battery - typing the name of it takes longer than the battery charge life manages to maintain!!!!!

I can only assume from your comment that you possibly
Have not managed to read the thread.
The latest official os in vastly better than any of
The older versions.
There's also other os's about that can help improve
The phone in both battery and use ability.
I hope you manage to get the latest which is
Os 188.8.131.521 onto your phone as it will help your
Enjoyment of a great handset.
I am using my 9900 as my 2nd phone now but like
It better for typing than this z10.

thanks for the information, however, having checked my OS on the phone and seen if an update is available it tells me that my OS is up to date, but the battery still discharges at an alarming rate!!!!
