ok so 2 days ago i was running an official docomo japan release of os 18.104.22.1681. i looked at my phone and it was stuck in a boot loop. i figured it had something to do with the os as the os was acting kinda funny since the last couple of days. so i looked through the forums and found autoloader for blackberry. luckily i was able to reload the official os for india through this. now what seems strange is that whenever i load an app and the phone has to restart, it restarts just fine, but incase i have to do a battery pull, it gets stuck in a boot loop. so i have to go and wipe my device with autoloader again adn re install the os. could this be a boot ic issue? i really hope its not a hardware issue. as far as i can analyze i think it mostly is a hardware issue, but what i cant understand is why when i load through autoloader it boots but otherwise it doesnt! ideally if it was a hardware issue it wouldnt boot even with autoloader right?

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Truly diagnosing hardware issues at an internet distance is virtually impossible. We can give you things to try that can rule other causes in or out, but a true hardware issue diagnosis can only come from an in-hand evaluation by a qualified technician. What you describe could well be an intermittent hardware issue -- perhaps one affected by heat. But, that is all it can be...a WAG (not even a SWAG).
One way to try and rule out all other causes would be the "Bare Bones OS Reload Procedure":
When the behavior presents, you know the culprit...the last thing you loaded.
If the behavior does not re-present, then you know that either step 1 or 2 cured it.
If the behavior presents no matter what, then you likely have a hardware level issue for which no amount of OS or software can cure.
Good luck and let us know!
