Bold 9900 can't obtain an IP address

Hello,

 

I have a problem with the WiFi on my Bold 9900. I connect the WIFI but it fail to obtain an IP address and it does that for every connection even for the ones already saved in my connection.

 

Does anybody have a solution or an idea to fix that?

Maybe DHCP is not running on the router to which you're trying to connect.

 

Try setting a static IP.

The thing is that I never had troubles for the last 2 years with my WIfi at home.

 

How can I set up a static IP address?

I have to enter an IP address? Because if I don'tdo anthing it says that the IP address is invalid

Yeah precisely. Enter in an IP address.

 

On your PC open cmd prompt and type ipconfig /all to get an idea of what a valid IP address is
