Bold 9900 screen or motherboard?

Hi, my blackberry bold 9900.the screen is black but it boots up and when it connects to the PC I can access all the date. Sometimes it shows black and white vertical lines across the screen - is it a faulty screen or a gpu problem on the handset??

Based on your description, it sounds like the issue could be hardware related


I would suggest you back up your device and then contact your point of sale to investigate this further.

Backup the device and do a factory reset in support tools - upper right side dropdown list of PC program - solves a mutitude of sins!
