I am having problems with the 9900 as it times out all the time, freezes up for 30 - 40 secs frequently, and when I try to delete a contact name it takes over 1 minute to do so. I have been a Blackberry user for a number of years and I am getting so frustrated with my phone that I am seriously considering going to the Samsung SIII. I have already done a reload on it as that is what Rogers suggested I do but it appears to be a software problem which Rogers does not deal with.

I would suggest to try backing up the BlackBerry smartphone and then perform a reset to factory:

Please test before restoring any data to the device.
If this resolves the issue do a selective restore of essential data (Address Book, Calendar, Task, Memos, BBM contacts etc.)

If the issue still persists after the reload, further investigation might be required. To help further diagnose the cause, contact your wireless service provider or BlackBerry® Technical Support Services for further review and support.
