Bold connects to computer but not Desktop software

Starting this morning, my Bold 9650 will not connect to my Desktop software (version  6.1.0.35). It does connect to my computer as it will charge.

What appears on your BlackBerry® Desktop Software when you connect your BlackBerry® smartphone?  Have you recently performed a battery pull?  If not, try doing so then connecting again.
