Browser Has Disappeared

Greetings folks!

I have an odd problem here. After a sync and a non-directed deletion of the "basque" file under additional languages (non of which I need or have, my browser icon has disappeared. If I try to go the web from a link in my email I get a message saying.

"Your device does not currently have any Browser Configuration Service Book Entries. Please contact your service provider to enable the Browser on your device."

What gives here folks? Any ideas?

I have a 8830 WE.

thanks in advance.

Re: Browser Has Disappeared

Maybe you can try to resend the service from the Host Routing Table.

Go to Options -> Advanced Options -> Host Routing Table -> MenuButton  -> Register Now

If your question was answered, please accept it as a sollution and / or give Kudos ;-)

Re: Browser Has Disappeared

My Browser also disappeared after I installed Agendus.

Tried the solution, but when I go to "Host Routing Table", I get a page of Verizon entries under "HRT Editor"

Any ideas?

Re: Browser Has Disappeared

I had a similar problem....yesterday Browser icon disappeared, registered host routing table, turned off/on and icon reappeared and worked!   Today, Browser icon visable but get the error msg "your device does not currently have any Browser Conf. Service Book Entries.  Please contact....."  I tried to re-register the host routing table several times with same result...get a message to email that my blackberry is registered but then same error msg when click on Browser.  Any other ideas out there?  Is it possible to just start over?

Re: Browser Has Disappeared

Hi umd16 and welcome to the forums!

Log into your BIS site and send service books.

You will get an activation email letting you know they are sent.

Retry the browser. You may need to do a battery pull after the service books.

Pull the battery with the device on leave out for a minute, replace and

let the BB reboot for 5 minutes. Try the browser.

Thanks

Re: Browser Has Disappeared

Excellent.  Thanks.  The "Send Service Books" fixed my issue as well.
