Browser error 10001

Hi, hoping someone can point me in the right direction for a fix for this.

 

Trying to use my browser to point to an IP camera based on my home network. When inputting the IP address via wifi (either on my network, or on another) it loads the camera without an issue.

 

When trying to use 3g to access it, I get the following error screen.

 

ERROR

 

The requested URL could not be retrieved.

 

Sorry, we can't open the web page that you requested because access was denied. If you should have access to this web page, contact your wireless service provider.

 

Error code: 10001

I had exactly the same problem without finding solutions on google search, I only found this query without answers of 2011.


I found the solution and I share it here for other people with the same problem:

You must change the port number of the IP camera to avoid the restrictions of access to ports 80 series probably installed the administrator of your company.

In my case it worked on port 9999

1) go to camera settings and change the port #
2) modify the configuration of the router to open the new camera port #
3) to access 3G from your phone Use the new port number. Example: https://mycam.dyndns.org:9999
