Buttoms don't turn off - keyboard doesn't turn on.

Please someone can help with this,

why  the buttoms next to the track pad don't turn off, I lock the phone and they keep on. And keyboard light doesn't turn on. I pull out the battery and this doesn't fix it.

Any help it will be appreciated.

Thank you

If a battery pull doesn't correct the problem, try an OS reload using BlackBerry Desktop Software. Do this by plugging your phone in to you PC and opening BDS. Click Device at the top of the software then Restore. Choose the most recent restore point and load it.

Let us know if that helps you. Smiley Happy

Re: Buttoms don't turn off - keyboard doesn't turn on.

Hello BillJ

I tried to restore the device but in the restore window the list of files is empty, so i couldn't restore it, Is there another way to fix it? Can i reinstall the OS? o update it? Could this fix it?

Thank you
