Calendar, date/time, time zones

1. Even though my options/date-time is set to "date/time source" = network, it does not pick up the new time for instance flying across time zones. So I have to reset the time manually.


2. When I do this, the blkbry changes ALL the appointment times entered on my calendar. So I arrive in cityX on Pacific time, update the clock for PDT, and whoa! What was entered as a 2pm appt gets changed to a 3pm appt (or other way, 1pm). This really causes problems.


anyone have a solution?

BlackBerrys do not automatically change timezones, do that manually. There is a good reasoning for it, which I appreciate, as well as more details:
