Got an eerie bad feeling about my 8530. Couple days ago the Calendar app started to function really slow, and in fact freezes (can't scroll through the agenda view) until about 3-4 seconds elapse and then it springs back to life. From my homescreen when I select the Calendar icon it also takes about 3-4 seconds to change to Calendar. All other homescreen icons, when pressed, go directly to the application and are fully functional.
I've tried reboot, all other apps closed and still have the problem.
Any ideas on why my Calendar has gone sluggish ?
Thanks in advance

Did you do a battery pull reboot or use key command reboot?
I recovered more system memory when I did a battery pull instead of key reboot.
Are you running low on system memory?
What app or theme have you installed recently that might have caused this?
Try uninstalling recent app if any to see if that is the problem.
Those seem like good questions to answer so some of the tech wiz kids could help.
I use the automatic memory cleaning method in blackberry personally.
1)Open options from home screen.
2)Open "Security Options."
3)Open "Advanced Security Options."
4)Open "Memory Cleaning"
6)Clean When Holstered:Yes
7)Clean When Idle: Yes
8)Idle Timeout: 2 minutes(I am unsure what effect if any this has on battery life)
9)Show Icon on Home Screen: Whatever your preference here
I hope that helps,if this is elementary to most blackberry users excuse me I am green to blackberry and smartphones in general.

I did use a battery pull reboot, system memory is ample, did remove latest app installed but that did not help the situation.
I'm still at square 1 but certainly appreciate your reply.
