Calendar synchronization

I currently have a 9010 and will migrate to the Z10 later this year. Currently sync my outlook calendar from my desktop to the 9010 via USB and desktop manager.  Have just purchased a Samsung s2 tablet and now only use the desktop PC once in a blue moon as most of my work is carried out on the s2.

I should like to sync my diary with one on the Samsung, automatically and wirelessly.

How can that be achieved now (9010) or in the future (Z10).

Re: Calendar synchronization

I would recommend that you being a migration to using a calendar connected to a email account such as Outlook.com, which provides a seamless cloud sync of the calendar (and contacts) to any device configured with the Outlook.com email address.

From your PC, you can export your current calendar to a CSV file and have that imported into an Outlook.com account.

How to create and synchronize with an ASCII export file

Let me know if you have questions.

Re: Calendar synchronization

That means having a msn or hotmail account/e-mail which I don't want. Are there no blackberry applications for sync ing calendar s across platforms?

Re: Calendar synchronization

Yes, using the standalone Outlook application on your PC or tablet if it has it. That's one.

But, do you want a wireless, over the air, no-cable sync?

Re: Calendar synchronization

The ideal way is to use an email account such as Outlook.com (preferable for me over hotmail or MSN) to handle that sync. You don't have to use that email account for actual emails, but you can use it only for the calendar sync.

Assuming the Samsung will allow it. I belive it does.
