Is there a way to view the calendar that is on my phone on my laptop. I had a Palm Pilot and recently switched to BB. I like the idea to be able to view my calendar and make changes on my laptop then synchronizing it with my phone.

Without Outlook, you cannot sync your windows calendar, but you can sync contacts. Here is a link showing the procedure with Outlook if interested. Outlook would allow you to synch calendar, contacts, memo's and tasks with the BB device via the Desktop Software on the CD you got with your device.
Desktop does not support window calendar so you couldn't completely sync your devices.
