Calender and Contacts

I have been using a Palm for the past 8 year; and I am converting to a BB Curve.

I am trying to set up my calendar and contacts.  I have Vista operating system on my computer.  How do I get started? Do I have to use Outlook?  What are your suggestions?  HELP!! I am totally lost.

Hi and welcome to the forums !

Do you have the desktop software that came on the CD with the BB?

it contains the Desktop Manager  application to sync a BB with another device, like a Palm.

Let me know?

Although you said you wen't too crazy about Outlook this link shows and easy way to convert using Outlook:

I am currently not using anything.  As of  2 days ago; I was using my Palm.  So I am open as to what I will use.  Any suggestions?

Re: Calender and Contacts

In my opinion Outlook is your best bet. It is compatible with Vista (both Microsoft products) and is supported by

BB desktop Manager. You can easily sync calender tasks, memos, and contacts.
