Re: Call Forwarding

I have verizon as well *72 followed by the number I want to forward to rings and gives me a warble two tone then hangs up. That is the verification. When I cancel forwarding I dial *73, get the same tone and it cancels forward.

Is this what you get?  I just drove my wife crazy checking it Smiley Happy

Re: Call Forwarding

When I did *73, I didn't include a phone number because I wanted it to affect all. Then do I understand that72/73 codes are for individual numbers? Mine now never goes to voicemail unless, maybe my phone is off?

Thank you for your help.

That's correct.  *72 then the number you want your calls forwarded to.  For example you can have them go to your work number or a friends house while you are there.  *73 will set it back to recieve calls on your device.  If the phone is off, it will go right to your voicemail.  They also have conditional call forwarding, no answer call foward or immediate call forward.
Check out
www.verizonwireless.com and do a search for call forwarding for all the options.

Hope this info helps you.
