Camera and keyboard

I tried the camera and took some bad photos and deleted them all. Then I took one that I wanted to transfer and save on my computer. So I hooked up the 8330 through the USB to my computer. When I transferred the photo, to my surprise it was one of those I thought I deleted. The 8330 still shows only one photo and the computer shows only one but they're different. Don't know what to make of that.

Also I wanted to try all the KB combinations and how to get punctuation, etc. I found only 4 pages in the online guide under Display and keyboard. There has to be more. where would they be?

Thanks for any help.

Re: Camera and keyboard

You asked if I had a memory card installed and I do. Does that answer the question about why I was not able to copy the correct photo to my computer. I'm confused.

Re: Camera and keyboard

I found both pics in the device memory. How do I delete the unwanted one? Also there are about 12 preloaded photos that I don't want.

Also how do I access the added sd memory card?

Re: Camera and keyboard

Go to the main media screen menukey Explore This should show you two options media card and device memory.

If your pictures are in device memory, go to device memory, home, user, and you will see the media folders. Go to pictures, from what you say their should be two, tell me their names please. CLick on one and you will see if it's good or bad, if good menu key- move up media card. If bad menu key delete. But I really need to know the file names of both

those, and the one on your PC.

Thanks,

Re: Camera and keyboard

Here's what I'm able to find: Media Card screen

ON

NO Encryption

Mass Storage Support: ON

auto Enable mass storage mode when connected; PROMPT

total Space: 3.7gb

Free Space   3.7gb

IMG000005.jpg

IMG000001.jpg

Device Memory Folder shows the 01.jpg and when I click on Device memory the 05.JPG shows and the folder says Up?

when I click on UP the Device Memory folder and Preloaded Pictures folder show with the 01.jpg pic.

I was able to delete the 01.jpg

There are about 20+ preloaded pics that I'd like to delete but there's no delete on the Menu only a close option.

How do I make the pics store on the media card?

I'm pretty confused and frustrated. The BB operational logic is confusing at least to me.

Re: Camera and keyboard

Hi,

You can't delete the pictures that came with the blackberry without a major memory maximize program.

On your media card do you have these folders:

Blackberry

pictures

music

ringtones

videos

voicenotes
This is the folder structure that the Blackberry needs to allocate the media to.

Do you have these folders on your media card?

Thanks,
