Camera not working

I have had my torch 9800 for 2 years now. The camera is now not working. When I click the app it goes to the camera but doesn't show anything but a grey screen and the irons on the bottom. The older pictures show at the bottom as well as the options for flash ECG but the blue camera button is grey and nothing shows up in the viewer. No error messages pop up either.

Re: Camera not working

Hi Wendy137

Welcome to BlackBerry Support Forums

Can you perform a Self Test on your device which include Camera test ! It will let you know if the it is a hardware issue. If your Camera doesn't pass this test then you have to visit a repair shop or your service provider to get it fixed :

KB16037  : Using the Self Test application on the BlackBerry smartphone

Try it and let us know of your results.
