Any ideas for help, JSanders? I like my Torch!

What is your Operating System loaded to your device? Look at Options > > Device > About, third line down beginning with a "v.6.0.x.xxx", What is yours?

OK, so that is OS 6.0.0.526.

There is a later release of 6.0.0.600 you could upgrade to, and it might help you. Might not. But other than a battery pull reboot, there's not much else to try.

ATT has this release.

See the link below for the download, and follow these simple installation instructions.

Do a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > Backup. Close Desktop Manager upon completion.

1. Download the OS file to the PC then install it to the PC by running (double clicking) the file you downloaded.

https://swdownloads.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=577BCC914F9E55D5E4E4F82F9F00E7D4

2. Go to c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
3. Plug in BB and double click on "Loader.exe." It's located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

Re: Camera won't zoom

If you could persuade ATT to give you a warranty exchange that would be my route. Bit they're likely to pull the battery and see it work and send you on your way.

So... Me being one that doesn't mind an OS reload... I'd upgrade the OS first. If it fixes it good. If the issue persists, then I'd pester ATT. That's me.
