Can I return a .REM to my Storm to decrypt it?

I've never had a problem downloading photos from my Storm to my laptop till today, so I set the download to "erase when complete" and boy am I sorry now. The videos came over just fine, but all the photos disappeared, leaving only ONE .RE'M file which of course I can't open. I'm sick about it - so many photos of my grandchildren on the carousel.

Can I upload that one .REM back to my Storm and decrypt it? If this is possible, how do I do it? Thank you in advance.

-Jenny

P.S. If you have any ideas about where the rest of my photos disappeared too...

Did you find a solution to this?  I'm in the same position as well.

Thanks,
