I can do a back up with no problem but when I try to Sync or add files to my Playbook Desktop Software say that there is no connection to my Playbook. I tried reinstalling the Desktop Software 3 times and started new and like I said the backup works good but can't sync or add files to my Playbook. I tried everything to correct this but nothing. I need help.
Every time I try to sync Music, Photos, Vedio and Files I get a message that says " A Problem occured while attempting to connect to you Blackberry Device"
I tried everything but nothing worked.

What version of the BlackBerry Desktop Software are you currently using and what version of Windows do you have?

I downloaded the latest version after I installed Windows 8 and the Desktop Software recognizes my Playbook and I could do a backup with no problems but when I try to syn my Playbook it say I an not connected. So I tried deleting the Desktop software 3 times and reinstall over again. Still nothing.

I'm having the same problem as well. Just updated the Playbook software and IOS today. After the update it restarted my PC and when I connected to the Blackberry Desktop Software it tells me that it's not connected and the troubleshooting doesn't help. My PC has Windows Vista. Is anyone able to help?
