I don't have BES enabled with my carrier. I would like to sync caledar items manually with my desktop via USB cable.
The problem is that I can't disable wireless synchronization for calendar.
The device allows me to do that without problem (Calendar > Options > Desktop > Wireless Synchronization > No).
However when I connect the device via USB to the desktop - the Desktop Manager automatically changes this setting back to "Yes", and doesn't allow me to sync calendar items saying that i first have to disable wireless synchronization.
Any ideas how to solve this?

I disabled all wireless synchronizations of all applications (address book, calendar, etc.) but still I get the same error.
I didn't mention this before - but I am able to synchronize address book via the Desktop Manager without problems.

I never ran the device with BES.
But I think I may have found a solution - still checking.
I removed the DM and now I'll install it again without BES support.
