Can't edit "Sounds for Selected Profile" or create new

I can't edit any of the other sounds in my profiles or create new profiles.  I can switch between them and the notifications change as expected from loud to vibrate to silent.  When I select "Sounds for Selected Profile" I get a screen transition like it's opening the new screen, but then disappears.  I tried creating a new one, but the new profile button and the menu option do nothing.  I upgraded to 6.0.0.246 in hopes it would fix the problem, but it didn't.  I can change the ringtone and sounds for contacts only.  When I first got the torch, I could edit them and I even created a new one.  Any ideas?

delete nimbuzz , berrybuzz or any other instant messaging apps then restart device

Sorry, i guess that's what I get for trying to accept as solution from my torch.

Where do I find the 2 items you said I need to delete? (nimbuzz and berrybuzz)

hey

got the same problem but i dont have nimbuzz or any other. just the usual instant messaging appz that came with the torch. could it be Windows live messenger?

Install and then delete Nimbuzz. That apparently restores the sound profiles, at least it did for me.
