Can't follow users guide as some things dont exist!

I have been having a problem with emails sent from my Gmail account showing up on my BB.  I found a thread to resolve the issue, but can't follow the directions, as my BB doesn't display some of the steps shown as in step 2 of this thread:

If I open my email and then options, i have showing are:

General Options

Email Settings

Email Reconciliation

Spell Check

If I go into the users guide, I read the following:

Turn on an email message filter

1. In a message list, press the Menu key.

2. Click Options.3. Click

Email Filters.

4. Select the check box beside an email message filter.

Again - I only have the above options, EMAIL FILTERS isn't one of them.

I have 4.6 download, but am cautious about 4.7 as I have heard there are issues with it.  Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Follow THIS set of instructions (that one was for a corporate BES environment).

Sorry, new link added.

The bottom line is you need to log in to your BIS account and change the filter per the instructions in my new link, NOT from the device itself.

Re: Can't follow users guide as some things dont exist!

Thanks - I originally tried that but my service provider wouldn't allow me to until I called in.  I got Rogers to set up my account, logged into the BIS and followed the remainder of the directions in your thread - established a filter and tested it.  It works great!

Thanks!
