My Device: Torch

Can't sync using Desktop Software

My data :
Blackberry Torch 9800
Device software version 6.0.0.337

Blackberry Desktop Software Version 6.0.1.18

Details of installed components
Blackberry Device Manager  6.0.0.13
BBDevMgr   4.1.0.16
RIM USB Driver   4.2.0.10
RIM USB Serial Driver  2.2.0.3
Application Loader  6.0.1.13

My problem is that I cannot sync anything using the Desktop Software.

At connecting my Blackberry to laptop using cable :
I get 2 Autoplay sessions, makes 2 new drives on my pc.

then "Connecting" , green circle, takes very long.
Blackberry flashes between clock and the connection

screen.

I click Organizer, there is a blue comment that
says
Settings on your device are preventing the

synchronization of some items.
I cannot click any of the items like Calendar or

Address Book.

If I click "Configure Settings" I get
Intellisync : Unknown error reported.
Clicking "Reset Settings" does not help.

If I click "Sync All" I get another error saying
Your organizer data isn't configured for

synchronization which brings me to the same screen

where I can't select any of the items to Sync.

I have had the Blackberry for about a month now and I

have wanted to throw it against the wall a few times,
the simplest things don't work, I am very close to

abandoning all together.

I read the Help section of the Desktop software that says I have to click off the wireless Sync,

I think I have done that but I am really stuck now.

thanks for any advice,

regards,

The same problem is here

Try this way (which is help me)

1. Go to the folder C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Intellisync\

2. Backup and Delete all information from this folder.

3. Run DM and try to synchronization.

Then configure sync in DM - do not forget uncheck Wirless Sync

Good luck
