Can't use web-based

I just got my first Blackberry Torch and i got the 200MB plan from AT&T,

I've tried to access windows live messenger and facebook but it doesn't work.

saying "Data Services Isn't Avaliable" and for FB : "cannot connect to facebook server please try again later (100).


 I also tried WIFI but it only lets me use the browser.

Please help

Does the 200MB plan from AT&T include Blackberry Data Services?

I'm still confused about this as well. AT&T has the following plans:


$15 for 200MB

$25 for 2G

$45 for 2G "Enterprise"


I know I can't use BES without enterprise, but I'm confused about what "Blackberry Data Services" are. Is there an enterprise and a non-enterprise version of Blackberry Data Services? Or will nothing from Blackberry work if I don't have the $45 plan?

BlackBerry data services work off of BlackBerry servers.  Other data services don't.  If your service plan doesn't specifically say "BlackBerry" in it, you'll run into problems.


Call AT&T and ask exactly what you have.  Switching over to a BlackBerry data plan is quick and painless, if you don't already have it.
