I did a search and did not find a definitive answer.
My BB is installed on my work PC, but I'd like to install it at home as well, on my laptop. (can't really download, copy music, Podcasts, videos etc at work!!)
Before I install BB software on the laptop, was wondering if having it on 2 systems creates problems. Won't need to sync Calendar, tasks email etc, just the media stuff and apps.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Install the Desktop manager at Work as BES.
Install the Desktop manager at home as BIS.
That way you can also add your home contacts to the Devcie,. but remember that because the devcie will Sync everything, the Contacts that are now on your BB will be sync'ed to the office account as if you had added them manually!
Hope that helps!
