I have recently bought a new BB Torch. I have set up my wi fi (BT Broadband) and I use orange. However when I try to go on the BB APP store I get the following message "Blackberry App world is having trouble connecting to the App world server. Verify your network connections and try again'. As far as I can see My WI fi connections are fine.
When I try to log on to the facebook app I instantly get the 'cannot connect to Facebook server' notice.
Does anyone know what I am doing wrong.

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
1) Register HRT
2) Delete and Resend Service Books
3) Batt Pull Reboot
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should contact your wireless service provider to ensure that you have subscribed to a data plan from them that is adequate to enable the services you desire:
Regardless of access path (WiFi versus carrier data network), there are several services that are proprietary to BBs...as such, they require an adequate data plan to enable them.
