Cannot install Blackberry Desktop Manager

Good Morning,

 

I'm experiencing an issue which for the past couple of days i cannot resolve.

I cannot install the Blackberry Desktop Manager 7.1 on my Windows 7 64bit Ultimate laptop.

 

During the final moments of the installation I receive this message:

 

"Error 1935 assembly component {9BAE13A2-E7AF-D6C3-A01F-C8B3B9A1E18E} hresult 0x800736b3

Installation cannot continue."

 

It then rolls back the entire installation...

 

I've cleaned my registry using CCleaner, Reg Optimizer and TuneUp Utilities, uninstalled all the Visual C++ redistrib., uninstalled the .NET framwork 4.5, uninstalled the MSXML 4.0 SP3 , rebooted and reinstalled the above.

 

I've tried fsutil resource setautoreset true c:\  and in cd\windows\temp del *.tmp Command Prompt; ran as adminstrator.

 

I've disabled my Mcafee AntiVirus Plus, Malwarebytes and TuneUp Utilities...

 

 

Nothing works...

 

 

HELP PLEASE!!!!

It seems you have tried most all things...so I suggest this thread:

It starts with a process for cleanly starting over, and there is some discussion, and there is also a post (15) with links to older Desktop Software versions, if those are needed. Note that this is not, by any means, guaranteed to work...but it has worked for many to resolve issues they are having.

My apologies... I my haste I neglected to inform you that I have tried a clean uninstall... Wiped my system free of anything blackberry related... From my registry to program files to common files to program data to windows... no inference to blackberry whatsoever... My system has undergonbe several reboots and recently a fresh reinstallation of windows...

Then the only thing I can see that you've not yet tried is older Desktop Software versions.

Thanks to all who helped... Issue resolved after installing direct x on top of all the other software...
