Cannot logout of Appworld

  1. Bold 9900
  2. Vodafone
  3. v7.0.0.540, Platform 5.0.0.694
  4. Blackberry Appworld v 3.0.2.7

Using the above set up my Appworld has no option from the menu to "Logout"  I even deleted the app and reloaded it and its still left me logged in and still no logout option.

 

Any ideas?


The reason i need to log out is I have somehow created 2 blackberry IDs and need to use the other one as it has apps on it that I have paid for.

Correct, you can't change it that way.

 

Instead, go to Options > Device > BlackBerryID and change your account there.

Thanks - Given that a go changing details to the correct ID but it won't accept the new details (and yet I can login to both IDs on the PC).  I keep getting the password incorrect error.   Its like the phone has hardwired itself to the incorrect ID and no matter what I do (delete and re-install the app or change the details via options) it just won't lose the link to the wrong ID.   

 

Have now found this article so seems only way is to wipe the phone and login with correct ID:

Unless anyone has found another way.

I managed to do this on BB9700 SW revision 6

Go to Options -> Device -> Application management and

delete "Blackberry Identity 6.3.0.14"

After deleting when rebooted and tried to open Blackberry App world, it asked me to install "Blackberry ID" SW because it couldn't work without it.

When software was reinstalled and opening again BB APP world, going to "My World" it asked me to log in.

Then I logged in with my other BB ID.

Hope it would work for you as well...

Go to options then application then it's will say third party change that to add on then it will say blackberry identity delet that reboot your blackberry then you can changed and sign out

I need the same help. I want to log out because everyday I get atleast 10 emails a day telling me about "deals" on black berry world.

Logging out of App World will not stop those 'spam' messages.

Those 'deal' notices are NOT from BlackBerry, but from one of developers of an app you have installed.

You might look and see what free apps you have installed, anything from developer S4BB?

No I have all the standerd BlackBerry apps that come with Blackberry Torch, plus one that I have installed called "villains". Would that be one that is spaming my inbox? I don't download much.
