Cannot open my FB, twitter apps and app world using wifi connection. (Torch 9800)

Before I registered/ subscribed to a data plan, I was able to open my fb, twitter and app world via wifi but now that I'm not using a data plan, I cannot access those apps anymore using a wifi connection.

Can somebody explain why and if there's any modification (s) that I need to do for those apps to work?

Any help will be much appreciated. Ü

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

The latest version of AppWorld should work via WiFi and no data plan...please remove/reinstall AppWorld to see if that allows it to work. It may be that you have an older version that required subscription to a BIS-data plan in order for it to work.

As for Twitter and FaceBook, memory tells me that those both require subscription to an adequate BIS-level data plan, even if you want to use them just via WiFi. As such, when you dropped your data plan, you dropped your ability to use those apps.

Good luck!

Thanks a lot! but where can I download the appWorld after I deleted/removed it? How come I was able to run the fb and twitter apps via wifi without having a data plan, but now that my plan has ended, I can't access it anymore. Smiley Sad

Sorry, but that's contradictory -- If, as you say, you had no data plan, then there was nothing to end...so I think perhaps I do not understand your situation?
