I have about 5 e-mails set up with my old 9700, now I am trying to switch the device by clicking Detect New Device, but I am getting this error:
Unable to detect new device. It may take a few minutes for a new device to be detected. Make sure your SIM card is in your new device and try again. If you do not have a SIM card, make sure your device is activated and try again.
It is the same SIM card from 9700, and BBM works fine, App World also logged in with same BB ID.
Is there anything I can do to force it to detect, or switch it from device?

Thanks bill, but I am referring to BIS online control panel
switching device so that BIS can direct all new e-mails to the new phone.. now I had to create a new one on the phone and set up emails there. I hope old user does not have access to these accounts in their BIS panel now..
