Re: Certificate Password on BBM wifi

I don't know why you would be seeing this after an update if you were not seeing it before.

What model BlackBerry are you using, what OS version?

Is the device on BES, or was the device acquired second hand?

In short, if you are digitally signing a message or sending and receiving encrypted messages, you would employ digital certificates. The keystore has a password. I know on legacy models you could leave that password different or else make it the same as the device password.

There is no way around it. You know it or you don't. If you are on BES you need to talk to whomever is providing your IT support. If that BlackBerry is your personal device and has an IT policy from a prior owner, there is a way to delete it.

Your way ahead depends on the status of the device and the OS version.
