Anna, This is a user-to-user community support forum. We are not RIM employees, but volunteers who enjoy assisting other users. RIM personnel do not handle or process warranty issues here. You would have noticed this in the EULA and message upon registration.
You need to contact your mobile provider who provides all warranty services for the device. Carphone Warehouse is not your provider, but Orange, Vodafone, etc., would be. Broken USB ports is normally noted as physical damage.

Hi, so the same has happened to me, I have managed to get it out but it wont stay in and when I do it keeps falling back into the handset. i cannot charge it. I have had my blackberry 8520 curve for a 14 months now, so it probably is over warranty, Does anyone know how to fix it. asap!
