I had purchased BB Bold 9790 from Technovisison, Hyderabad in Dec 2011 for Rs 27000 approx. My carrier is Airtel. The BB is getting heated when charged and battery gets drained even if run for few minutes.
Looking at this problem I purchased new battery. However the problem is the same. Also seen a peculiar habit after browsing for few minutes the fully charged battery new battery goes out of network stating battery drained...however putting it on charges we can see more than half charged battery....and again gets connected....
I have earlier BB curve but never faced such problem. Done all homework of reboot/ wipe etc....but failed....kept on observation since a month now but failed. Pls replace the same with a new one. Let me know the email id to escalate both in india and BB headquarters.

As a user-to-user community, no one here can answer your question with any level of authority whatsoever. BlackBerry provides zero front line support to end users, including warranty...all support starts with the carriers, authorized resellers, and authorized service centers, all who can escalate cases into BlackBerry at no charge to the end user.
So, your escalation path is not here, in these forums. Rather, it is through your place of purchase or service center...even if they may have a poor reputation. You have no free path by which to bypass them.
