Connect phone to PC

Good day.

Hope Someone can please help me.  My phone used to connect to the Blackberry Desktop without a problem.  Then I upgraded to the latest BlackBerry Desktop Software.

When I connect my handset it still asks:  Do you want to turn on Mass Storage Mode? I then click on Yes.

However the phone is not picked up by the Desktop Software.

I have deleted the Device drivers and have reinstalled them.  I have also deleted the Desktop Software and reinstalled it.  Still, my device is not picked up by the Desktop Software. It keeps giving me the message, connect your Blackberry Device.

This is extremely frustrating seeing that I would like to Sync my diary with my device.

Please help me!!
