I recently had to change my Blackberry Curve 9320 for another one, identical to my old one, due to a connection issue with my carrier. When I go to Blackberry ID, I get a "Unable to update Blackberry ID account information while offline'' message. Do I have to be near a WIFI connection in order to update?

Hi and Welcome to the Community!!
With a strong carrier network signal (not WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
1) Register HRT
2) Delete and Resend Service Books
3) Batt Pull Reboot
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should contact your mobile service provider for formal support...it is possible that they have not fully shifted your services over to the replacement BB.
