Connection problem

Ringer sounds but I cannot hear the caller speaking. 

I dial out and the phone receiving the call rings, but the person cannot hear me.

Hi there,

This sounds like a software related issue. Start by doing a battery pull - while the device is on, remove the battery for 15-30 seconds, reinsert and wait for the device to reboot.

Does that help? If not, the next step would be to try to reload the software on the device. To do this, follow the instructions in the following link:

Hopefully the battery pull will suffice, but if not, reloading the software will resolve the issue if it is software related. If it still doesn't work after that, you may be looking at a hardware issue.

This can also be a network issue. Have you tried in different areas?
