Constant emails from network@etp1105.etp.na.blackberry.net

Every 15 to 30 minutes, I get an email from network@etp1105.etp.na.blackberry.net that says it is to carry data to and from the blackberry and the server.  It says do not delete or move or respond.  I get hundreds of these and they are filling up my mail box.  What can I do to make these stop?

If i recall correctly, it means you have opened once Desktop Manager and said you had a BES account ; the emails you receive proove you don't.
Un-install the Blackberry Desktop Manager, and install it again, and this time select BIS instead.

Re: Constant emails from network@etp1105.etp.na.blackberry.net

You don't need to uninstall the application. Just follow the below instructions -

In your PC Go to Control Panel -> Click Add / remove programs -> select Blackberry Desktop Manager -> click  Change/Remove -> click modify ->  then instead of selecting the checkbox for Enterprise Server/Redirector select the checkbox next to Blackberry Internet Service. This should will solve the problem.

Re: Constant emails from network@etp1105.etp.na.blackberry.net

Hi I tried what you said and it hasn't stopped them.  I am trying to set up a contact on BlackBerry Messenger and the other person doesn't seem to be receiving my request?  I receive their request and accept it but it doesn't ever go any further than the pending file in messenger.  Any ideas what I'm doing wrong. I've got a Curve 8310 Smartphone.  Look forward to hearing further from you and this is now driving me mad.

How you're trying to add a conact in your mesenger? Through PIN or email? I would recommand you to try PIN request.

I still do not have a solution.  Someone added another question on to mine and that was answered.  I am still receiving constant emails from network@etp1105.etp.na.blackberry.net.  Any more suggestions?

Re: Constant emails from network@etp1105.etp.na.blackberry.net

I have finally been able to do number 3.  It required the disk.  I did not have that choice listed in #2 so I just did #3.

So far, so good.  If I do not get a message in 30 minutes, I will say it worked.

Thanks
